Syllabus:An independent research project under the direction and supervision of a staff member. The development of a research proposal, research and presentation of a report.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will have - Prepared a research proposal. Researched a topic, objectives and questions, used literature and field research strategy and methodology, proposed a structure for a research paper and created a bibliography. Completed a substantial semester research paper utilising mainly secondary data.
