Syllabus:Reading simplified natural Korean from newspapers, magazines. Writing summaries, questionnaires for social/market research and advertisements. Vocabulary range 3000 words, Hanja 300. Not available to students whose first language is Korean.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- The ability to read authentic articles in newspapers and magazines. The ability to conduct individual research about Korean contemporary issues. Produced a summary and report in writing.
