Syllabus:Procedures for the exchange of real estate, commercial and residential property marketing, negotiating real estate contracts, introduction to property management, regulatory framework of real estate agency, trust accounting requirements, management of real estate businesses, ethics.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Knowledge of real estate agency principles and practice in Western Australia. Understood the use of various marketing techniques in sales and leasing of residential, commercial and industrial properties. Developed oral and written communication skills sufficient to engage effectively in real estate business. Understood the laws affecting real estate agency in Western Australia. Appreciated and endorsed the ethical behaviour required in real estate.
