Syllabus:Examination of systems and packages for managing learning, and for assessing student performance. Design of software systems. Selection of appropriate data collection, learner analysis and diagnostic strategies. Design of databases and testing systems.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Become experienced and mature learners. The ability to meet deadlines without having regular reminders. A willingness to try to work through problems before asking the lecturer. The capability ofindependent learning (often without specific guidance from the lecturer) and a fundamental desire to submit work of high standard. Submitted professionally presented work on time. Checked submissions for spelling and grammar. Become dependent on email correspondence.
