Syllabus:Use of programming systems and languages in education. Survey of systems presently in use, and emerging trends. Comparison of conventional programming languages and special purpose systems for courseware authoring and database applications. Study of interactive program development shells - strengths and limitations. Procedures for system design, including user needs analyses.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Become familiar with VBA development environment. Developed a small multimedia courseware elements such as animations, digital audio and digital video. Used media in VBA. Investigated into how Javascript handles media and events compared to Visual Basic. Developed a Javascript Application for submission.
