Syllabus:Seismic waves, reflection and refraction seismology. Resistivity and induced polarisation methods. Electromagnetic techniques. Radiometric, remote sensing and miscellaneous methods. Drill hole logging. Geophysics in exploration programs.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the content of the syllabus. Sufficiently completed all practical work and assignments to the satisfaction of the unit coordinator. Achieved a pass mark in any theory examination based on the subject matter.
