Syllabus:Integrated study of landcare. Conservation of soil, water and vegetation. Natural resource management. Whole farm planning. Collection and collation of information. Case studies. Planning for a nominated property. Total catchment management and participation of landholder groups. Government and landholders in landcare. Onsite/offsite consequences. Resolution of conflict.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Developed a case study using a nominated property to illustrate whole farm planning including soil, water and vegetation conservation. Participated in catchment planning involving landholder and government groups. Managed conflict resolution as related to the management of natural resources including litigation issues.
