Introduction

This major provides theoretical, skilled knowledge and advanced practice skills required by mental health workers in changing health and community contexts. A clinical-based resource project in a relevant area of interest is also undertaken. This major focuses on current theories of mental health services and the mechanisms related to protective and risk factors in cultural, community, organisational, families and individual contexts. The influence of global and local policy and legislation are also considered.
