MCom(Curtin)

Introduction

This course is designed for those with a degree in commerce or equivalent and intend to develop skills necessary for the provision of professional taxation services.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

An undergraduate degree or equivalent in business, economics, commerce or related field, an appropriate Postgraduate Diploma in Business or an appropriate honours degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee-paying course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Intermediate Awards

A student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Taxation), may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School. For further definition refer to the Statement and Awards section under General Information.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
