MPsych(Curtin)

Introduction

This course offers majors in Clinical Health Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Organisational Psychology. It provides advanced professional training in each of these areas and is accredited by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Four year program in psychology, approved by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Specific Requirements

Applicants for this course should refer to the Communicable Diseases and Criminal Record Screening/Clearance Section of this publication.

Duration and Availability

This fee paying course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Course Organisation

A combination of coursework and practicum and a dissertation. As the sequence of units listed is a guide, students should consult their Course Coordinator to determine a sequence of study appropriate to their skills and experience. Some units may not be available in both semesters.

Professional Recognition

The three study areas of Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology and Organisational Psychology are accredited by separate colleges of the Australian Psychological Society Ltd. They are also separate specialised areas under the State Government Registration Act.
