Introduction

This course is designed to improve the professional skills of those employed in local government as building surveyors, and it is not designed to provide a primary building surveying qualification.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Students would normally hold a TAFE Certificate, Municipal Building Surveyors Certificate, diploma or associate diploma in building surveying and have at least five years senior experience in building surveying.

Duration and Availability

This fee paying course is two semesters part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
