Intermolecular and ionic bonding, trends in the periodic table, d-block and coordination chemistry, reactions and properties of compounds containing common functional groups. Experiments in gravimetric analysis, purification and separation techniques, reactions of functional groups, chemical and ionic equilibria and buffer systems and pH methods.
