Students attend lectures and explore issues raised in a variety of set texts covering contemporary cultural practices affecting Design and its practitioners, for example contemporary cultural theorists, feminists issues, politics in design, professionalism, universal design, design for need, ethics and other theoretical topics, which deepen our understanding of design and its place in society. Following the work on set texts, students are encouraged to present articles and chapters for group consideration.
