An introduction to population geography - concepts, patterns, distribution and growth, composition, migration. Economic geography - the agricultural, urban and industrial revolutions, patterns of activity, global trends. Cultural geography - race, religion, language and nationality, culture in world geopolitics. Settlement geography - urban development, socioeconomic differentiation within the city. Data collection and analysis.
