Directed study and research. Global Positioning System (GPS) overview, reference frames and coordinate systems. GPS observation procedures - differential GPS, static GPS, kinematic GPS, fast static GPS, real time positioning. GPS data processing - error sources, network adjustments, integration of GPS and terrestrial data, coordinate transformations. Receiver types, hands on experience with each GPS survey method. Case study applications.
