Syllabus: Select a suitable topic and supervisor for a project (usually completed before the start of the year). Undertake some preliminary study of topic, including a literature review. Formulate a detailed scope for the project. Conduct a detailed experimental or developmental study of a selected process, device or structure. Satisfactorily report on progress to the department/supervisor at required times. Write a technical progress report for the project - consisting of an account of the work completed in this unit, and the detailed plans to complete future activities (within ‘CERP‐2’).
