Syllabus: An exploration of leadership and management and the key issues and principles of leadership. Analysis and development of leadership knowledge, theoretical constructs, self-awareness, and team effectiveness. Insights based on work and life experiences. The social, political, technical and international environment that will influence the leadership of organisations. Development of critical thinking, reasoning, decision making and reflective skills. Development of leaders for change and innovative organisational forms. Requires a significant amount of group work in addition to normal contact hours.
