Additional Tuition Pattern Information: Tuition activity conducted over 4 week period.
Syllabus: Evidence-based medicine (EBM) in the integration of the best research evidence with patient preferences and clinical skills when making therapy decisions. It includes derivation of clear questions, searching for the best evidence available, critically appraising the evidence and apply it to a patient. These skills will help students answer drug information request, to critically review and interpret information from pharmaceutical companies and to provide guidance to patients in regard to best care.
