Students studying in the Plastics and Burns Practice Stream will focus on the care and management of patients requiring burns, plastics surgery. Students will need to be registered nurses working in a dedicated specialty unit and will combine learning from the applied clinical sciences to the practice context. The stream aims to take nurses who wish to specialise in the area to be competent in wound care, post sedation and pain analgesia and other important aspects of plastics and burns practice.
