STRP-COCNG v.1 Coronary Care Nursing Stream (GDip ClinNurs)

Students studying in the Coronary Care Nursing Stream will focus on the care and management of the patient whose primary health care needs relate to acute cardiac care. Areas of study include coronary care, invasive cardiology cardiac rehabilitation, heart failure care and cardiac transplantation. Registered nurses in this program will be working in an acute cardiac setting and will study relevant applied clinical sciences and translate this into practical issues in nursing care.
