STRU-PHRMF v.1 Pharmacy First Year Stream (BSc HlthSc)

Major/Stream Overview

This major/stream is part of a larger course. Information is specific to the major/stream, please refer to the course for more information.

This particular pathway is for students who may wish to study Pharmacy in the future and have not met the course pre-requisites. You will be eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Pharmacy if you achieve a course weighted average of 70 percent after completing this stream (200 credits). If you have not completed the equivalent of Mathematics 3A/3B, you need to study MATH1007 Pre and Introductory Calculus instead of PUBH1000 Introduction to Public Health. If you have not completed the equivalent of Chemistry 3A/3B you should study both CHEM1003 Introduction to Chemistry in first semester and CHEM1001 Biological Chemistry (instead of CHEM1006 Pharmaceutical Chemistry) in second semester. If you are accepted as a course switcher into the Bachelor of Pharmacy and you have not undertaken the specific relevant first year units (due to required pre-requisites) you will be given the opportunity to do so and will study first year on a part-time basis.
