STRU-OILGS v.1 Oil and Gas Stream (BEng Hons)

Introduction

The course covers the development, design and operation of processes and plant for the extraction, conversion and recovery of oil and gas systems, the theory and application of the various disciplines that are required to evaluate, develop and exploit oil and gas accumulations. Engineering companies design and build plant for oil and gas industries. Manufacturing companies manage, operate, maintain and develop processes and plant for the efficient production of oil and gas. Among the more familiar are petroleum refining, gas processing, petrochemical and polymer production, and several chemical process industries. The course provides the graduates with all of the essential elements of the degree in Chemical Engineering and has wide ranging career opportunities.
