MDDU-ACCTG v.1 Accounting Double Degree Major (BA/BCom)


Major/Stream Overview

This double degree major is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of, and competency in, accounting and associated fields of auditing, business law and financial management and to equip students for a professional accounting career in commerce, industry, government or public practice.


Professional Recognition

This course is accredited by CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), and graduates are eligible to apply for associate membership of both professional bodies. Graduates are eligible to enter into the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) program. To meet the requirements of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA), students must complete TAXA2000 Introduction to Australian Tax Law
