Knowledge of the identity and quantity of chemical species that may be present is essential for a wide variety of related fields including biomedical, materials, forensic and environmental science. This stream provides students with an opportunity to develop their knowledge in analytical and forensic chemistry along with associated practical skills in order to provide graduates qualified for employment as analytical chemists and forensic laboratory scientists.
