Syllabus: This unit is an advanced unit presenting the theory and practical implementation of flowlines and pipelines. Topics include: design principles, procedures and analysis methods of flowlines and pipelines; wall thickness and heat transfer calculations; VIV and spanning analysis; Flow assurance impacts; materials and design for installation; fabrication, installation and inspection methods; seafloor flowline structures; Pipeline/Flowline operations.
