This double major is designed to provide an overall understanding of the principles and processes of tourism, hospitality and event management whilst placing emphasis on the development and application of marketing to meet increasing demand within the expanding tourism, hospitality and event industries.


Professional Recognition

Students who complete this course are eligible to apply for membership with the Australian Marketing Institute.


Career Opportunities

Graduates generally find employment within the tourism, travel, hospitality, events, MICE and transport sectors of the tourism industry. Many companies operate internationally and the nature of the industry provides opportunities for national and international employment.

A graduate of this course can:

1. to produce graduates with skills and training appropriate to employment as tourism management and marketing consultants
