Syllabus:	Supply chain, logistics & information management terms and concepts; using IS for competitive advantage; elements of information systems - architecture, databases, functions and processes; cross-functional information systems and SCM, integrated IT interaction model & implications for supply chain systems; electronic commerce & SCM; IS for decision support in SCM; business processes and positioning for effective supply chain/logistics; Global aspects of IT & logistics management; strategic IS planning &implementation issues; be familiar with the functions of a representative information system;
