The syllabus will vary from year to year but the following topics will normally be included - goals and instruments of economic policy, the theory of economy policy, Australia's recent economic performance, unemployment and the labour market, competitionpolicy, monetary policy, Australia in the world economy, productivity growth, taxation policy, health economics, national savings economics of climate change.
