Algology - taxonomy and ecology of major divisions of algae, general ecology and economic importance of algae in the conservation of local wetlands, rivers and marine waters. Mycology - taxonomy and reproduction of major classes of local fungi, with special emphasis on their ecology in both aquatic and terrestrial systems.
