Electrodes and electrochemical cells, electrolyte equilibria and activity. Cell potentials and thermodynamic parameters. Electrochemistry and transport phenomena. Transport number and ion mobility. Conductance and conductivity measurement. Surface Chemistry - surface thermodynamics, interfaces. Applications - wetting, detergency, flotation, emulsification, adsorption isotherms.
