Sample preparation and decomposition - separation techniques including precipitation phenomena, chromatography, solvent extraction volatilisation and masking. Determination of required species by titrimetric or instrumental methods, in particular, atomicabsorption spectrometry. Laboratory work. Analysis of real samples covering mineral, metallurgical, environmental and forensic chemistry.
