7231 (v.5) Chemistry 118 or any previous version
Introduction to the chemistry of s, p and d block elements. This is a conversion course to enable students who have passed Chemistry 117 and 118 to take units having Chemistry 101 and 102 as prerequisites. Atomic theory - s, p, d orbitals. Molecular orbital theory, hybridisation, co-ordination compounds.
