Clinic preparation, infection control, appointments, records and patient assessment. Instruments. Moisture control. Dental materials - composite, glass ionomer, amalgam and linings. Polishing and recontouring restorations. Impressions and study casts. Clinical aspects of dental caries. Plaque control and removal. Fluoride applications and fissure sealants. Periodontology - periodontium, periodontal disease, aetiology, tissue changes, signs and symptoms. Occupational health issues.
