Mathematical programming - computing techniques. Dynamic programming - problem structure, recursion and solution technique. Applications to resource allocation and replacement models. DYNACODE. Production scheduling - interface with inventory theory, solution techniques including branch and bound and heuristic algorithms. Applications. Forecasting, use of computer packages.
