The purpose of this unit is to introduce students to the basic and core concepts in recruiting and selection. The unit provides an analysis of various assessment procedures for the use in selecting and/or promoting staff. Students are introduced to concepts relating to these assessments devices and to the factors involved in making decisions to apply selection assessment procedures.
