The key distinguishing feature of Public Relations (Cases) 300 is the involvement of a real life client as an integral component of the unit. Unlike some earlier units, PR300 requires students to produce real solutions to real problems. Consequently, very high standards of professionalism will be expected. In terms of the theory of the discipline, the key focus of PR300 is the strategic role of public relations within organisations. This strategic approach will also include the importance of corporate social responsibility and the triple bottom line imperative.
