Analysis and characterisation of instructional situations in terms of learners, content and context. Implications of perceptual and cognitive processes for design of instructional materials. Using computers in the instructional design process. Content sequencing and presentation. Instructional strategies and support of the learner. Representing subject matter in a range of information formats within a print and non print materials. Practical realisation of an instructional design. Evaluation and revision.
