Introduction to industry level requirement of skills and knowledge aspects as they relate to the practice of electrical and electronic product design. Tuition is studio orentated using project based design problems. Emphasis is placed on technical skill and use of technology. Introduction to industry level requirement of skills and knowledge aspects as they relate to the practice of electrical and electronic product design. Tuition is studio orentated using project based design problems. Emphasis is placed on technical skill and use of technology. Provide an awareness of the following skills - an understanding of how people behave, interact or respond to various products. An understanding of materials available to design electronic and electrical products. An understanding of internal componentry and an understanding of electromagnetic shielding and other manufacturing issues.
