Provides a basis for teaching English as a second language. Topics include - theories of language description, language acquisition and learning styles and approaches to and practical methods of language teaching. Topics include - listening, reading, writing and speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Observations and microteaching opportunities will be available.
