Overview of the ways digitisation is influencing library collections and services. Topics include - digital resources and collection development, aggregation, digital document delivery, cataloguing web-based resources, including current metadata standards, digitisation of technical services, creating digital objects and collections, including the legal implications. Developing practical skills in the creation and storage of digital objects.
