Principles of toxicology. Toxic chemical classification and effects of acute and chronic exposure. Environmental toxicology - toxic hazards, pathways of exposure, occupational and public health. Ecological processes and fate of chemicals in the environment - bioaccumulation, biotransformation, degradation. Management strategies for control of exposure. Ethics and social responsibility.
