The impact of behavioural and environmental factors as determinants of health. Health risk and needs assessment, including health impact assessment. Planning and implementing health protection and promotion initiatives. Community development and community organisation to improve local health needs. A review of the application of the theoretical and empirical evidence. This unit references the relevant policies and directions of national and international agencies including the WHO, ISO, AS/NZS. the Ottawa Charter and the Jakarta Declaration.
