Introduction to the Human Communication Science discipline. Psycholinguistic models of normal language and speech. Speech Science. Pragmatic and sociological factors affecting human communication. Development of communication, language and speech in infancy, early, middle and late childhood, adolescence and adulthood. Interacting with people of different ages and cultures to obtain representative samples of communication. Standardised clinical and research procedures for analysing and interpreting different parameters of communication.
