The World Wide Web is fast becoming a dynamic publishing / information medium and advanced web designers are capable of exploiting this feature: delivering data as required, in response to time and other cues, such as user input. This unit will develop your skills and abilities in this area, which is particularly important for e-commerce applications. Key issues include - Information Architecture, E-commerce Design, Designing Online Communities, Designing Personalised Environments, Dynamic Environment Design Issues, Search System Design, Relational Database Design, Web Application Design.
