301210 (v.2) WASM Applied Mining Geostatistics and Resource Estimation 601 or any previous version
Review and evaluation of new development in underground mining systems to achieve productivity, enhance safety and reduce costs. Design and layout of bulk underground mining techniques, vein mining. Stope design optimisation. Equipment selection, production planning, mining costs and ventilation design. New techniques for mine development and production systems, new haulage and conveyance systems, mine automation and monitoriing. Future trends in automated high productivity mining schemes. Selected studies will be presented.
