Research methodology - formulation of problem, design of study, review of the literature, identification of variables, hypothesis, collection and processing of data, validity and reliability. statistics and data handling. Technical report writing. Application of engineering tools for Cleaner Production including process flow sheeting, material and energy balances, PINCH technology. Application of quality management tools and techniques for Cleaner Production for environmental strategy development, for enhancing workers participation. Identification of an appropriate Cleaner Production research topic.
