Behaviour modification techniques. Review of important health promotion theories and models. Application of behaviour modification to specific health problems - smoking, obesity and stress. Evaluation of health maintenance programs - smoking cessation, weight control, stress management, exercise, assertion and moderate or controlled drinking.
