Natural and forced vibrations of spring mass systems. Modal shapes, viscous damping, force, inertia and base displacement excitation, resonance. Torsion vibration, torsional oscillations with multiple rotors. Geared systems. Transverse beam vibrations. Whirling of shafts. Gyroscopic effects.
