Social change in Southeast Asia. Introduction to Southeast Asian cultures. Focus on the social, economic and political organisation of peoples and cultures in the Philippines. The relationship between the Philippines and Southeast Asia. The relationship between the Philippines and Australia. Students must produce a major research project.
