The syllabus will vary from year to year but will normally include - development strategies and the historical experience of Asian economies. The role of government in Asian economic development - including macroeconomic management, policy towards foreign direct investment, education and domestic savings, trade and industry policy. Regional economic cooperation, integration, economies in transition.
